So my first post won’t have to do with sports. I know a couple people that don’t want to have to read that for 40 days. So in my first post; stupid and rude people are on my mind. We’ll start with this afternoon in my construction documents class. In this class we sit in a computer lab and are free to listen to music, walk in and out and so on. I take full advantage of this. I often receive calls on my phone, so I walk out of the room and answer them. Well today, people started listening to music. Like all of a sudden, it became popular. Micah and I could hear probably a dozen different songs going at once. Micah and I work together on our projects because it’s nice having two brains thinking and looking over things than just one. All of a sudden out of the blue, we hear loud metal music blaring. This girl about 10 feet away from us had her headphones on with the volume at like 100% max. Our teacher glanced over at her and she turned it down just a little bit but still very loud. Micah said to me, “Ben, do you think she cares that there are 25 other students in here working?” I said, “nope, probably not.” She finally left class about a half hour before it was officially over and we both where just like wow, maybe tomorrow we should bring ear plugs. Now don’t get me wrong, I listen to loud music and I have a girlfriend who listens to it as well; metal in particularly. But she cares when I ask to turn it down but this girl was just rude to us and everyone in the room. It isn’t too hard to listen to odd and end music types when you’re studying, but when it’s blaring throughout the class room, things just aren’t going to fare well.

The warm voice in my phone

Its not always the actions that people do, but the warm thoughts that come up. I phoned Nik when I was heading down to Plainwell, very upset because things where not going anyway near as I hoped. She told me to calm down, everything was going to be ok, she’d make me dinner and hot chocolate when I got home, just chill and get it taken care of. When I finally got home, she was busy, and I made the stuff myself, but just the thoughts of her wanting to do the stuff for me made me smile and made my day a little brighter : )
